Hanashima Yuko (花島優子) is a Japanese actress, talent, former singer, and former third generation member of the super girl unit Otomejyuku. Hanashima made her debut in 1990 as an actress as the main character in the Toei Fushigi Comedy series Bishojo Mask Poitrine. That same year, she also debut as a singer with the single Kanashimi ni Ichban Chikai Basho.
In 1995, she retired from show business after marrying a former classmate. Since then, she made her comeback from retirement in 2002.
