Juria Kawakami (川上 ジュリア) is a singer who debuted under the AVEX TRAX after having won the A-Motion musical talent contest in 2006.

When she was a child, her mother was worried about Juria's extreme shyness and thus enroled her into singing and dancing lessons. This resulted in her shyness being cured, as well as her amazing musical talent being discovered.

Juria entered the A-Motion musical talent contest twice. Once in 2005, where she did not win, and once again in 2006 and this time she did win. Juria then debuted with her 1st single Go! Let's Go! at the gae of 15. She herself had stated that she first wanted to release 12 digital singles, one per month, for a year, before releasing an album.

JURIAN BEAT CRISIS is officialy listed as a band, and Juria's songs are all produced by Maki Watase and Tatsuya Hirakawa from the Japanese band Lindberg.

Juria's artist name is shortened to JURIBE or JURI☆BE, and Jurian Beat Crisis is stylised as JURIAN BEAT CRISIS.
