Jung Joon Young promoting Jung Joon Young 1st Mini-Album (2013)

Jung Joon Young (정준영) is a former Korean rock singer-songwriter under CJ E&M. In 2012, he won third place on Mnet's talent competition series Superstar K 4. In 2013, he debuted as a radio DJ as the co-host MBC FM4U "Close Friend" with Roy Kim and made various radio and TV appearances. He was born in Jakarta, Indonesia and was raised in China, England, France, Japan, and the Philippines due to his father being a international businessman.

Prior to his appearance on Superstar K4, he was one of the cast of Ulzzang Shidae in 2011. He was also signed to be the lead singer of LED Apple but due to contract issues with previous label he was signed with, he was unable to debut.

In October 2013, he made his anticipated debut with his first mini-album, Jung Joon Young 1st Mini-Album.

In early 2019, Jung Joon Young admitted to all charges of distributing hidden camera footage, apologized to those involved, and announced his retirement from the entertainment industry.
