Kitamura Yuko (北村優子) is a former Japanese pop idol singer, actress, and talent. Kitamura got her start in 1974 when she won the top prize on the NTV show Star Tanjou!. She debut musically two years later with the single "Wakakusa no Date" under the label Victor Entertainment and as an actress in the dorama Ore-tachi no Asa. However, she married a company president and retired from the world of show business in 1980.
