Information

Kotani Kinya originally became known as the vocalist used for the character Shuichi in the anime Gravitation. He was commissioned to perform all of the music for the imaginary band, Bad Luck. Kotani issued his first album under the pseudonym of Bad Luck with a backing band named the Mad Soldiers which was comprised of Kenichi Ito and Daisuke Asakura. He was particularly known for his carefree, energetic image and light techno music. Many fans of Gravitation continue to mistake his later releases for "Bad Luck's songs". After Love Stuff in 2001, however, he completely dissapeared from the music scene. In 2005 he released BLAZE with a completely different image and musical style. It is in this new calmer more adult-like image that Kinya continues to release music to this day.
