Maeda Kouyou is a member of Midnight Angel, better known for being a member of Johnny's Entertainment rock band Otokogumi.

History

Maeda joined Johnny's Entertainment in 1983. He didn't have any musical experience, but he was the last member added to Otokogumi. In the group, he was the leader and played the keyboard. After Otokogumi disbanded, he formed several bands such as 前田耕陽BAND (Maeda Kouyou BAND) or GODDESS. He is currently in the band Midnight Angel (with former Otokogumi member Takahashi Kazuya) in which he is a vocalist and plays the piano.

In 1998, he married popular model Nakamura Yuma but they got divorced in 2003 without any children. The two had been friends for a long time before getting married, but once they got married they stopped getting along as well. On August 17, 2006, he remarried to Unabara Tomoko whom he had been seeing since September 2005. On April 12, 2007 he became the father of a little girl.
