Information
Park Yoochun was raised in Seoul, South Korea but moved to Chantilly, Virginia in the United Statess when he was in the Sixth Grade with his family. There he continued to keep in touch with his Korean roots as he grew up, eventually going to Chantilly High School. In 2001 he won first place in a singing competition and was spotted by SM Entertainment.
"I felt 50-50 American and Korean. I think most Korean kids in America feel that way these days." says Micky on his youth. 1
