SNH48 is a Chinese idol group based in Shanghai, where they will have their own theater. The group, established in 2012, is the third international AKB48 sister group and is produced by Akimoto Yasushi. There are currently no teams in the group, except for the trainee team, Research Students.

SNH48 had a total of 28 original members during all their 1 generation. As of February 2013, SNH48 has 26 Kenkyuuseis.
