Sakura Saku Machi Monogatari is the major debut album released by ikimono-gakari. The first press came packaged in a deluxe box with a special booklet. The album reached #4 on the Oricon weekly chart. Because it sold 158,101 copies in 2007, it was the #78 album of that year. Overall, it charted for 125 weeks and sold 247,612 copies.
