History

The group formed in 1997 and have since released numerous records on their own label, Tha Blue Herb Recordings, in addition to releases by other members of the Japanese hip-hop scene, most of whom hail from Sapporo as well. February 2003 saw the release of DJ O.N.O's first solo album entitled Six Month At Outside Stairs. Ill-Bosstino also forms one half of the duo Herbest Moon, paired with co-producer Wachall. Tha Blue Herb are a prominent force behind drawing attention to the Sapporo hip-hop scene.
