I think that is just translation mistake. I've been watching Evangelion for over ten years and I've never heard a singular pilot be refered to as a "children". As a collective it would be children, but Rie's the first child, Asuka's the second child, and Shinji's the third child, etc. ~ [[User:Themonkeyofdoom|Themonkeyofdoom]] 19:52, 3 July 2009 (UTC)

: When I watched EVA, a pilot is called a "children" so the word "children" came to my mind first instead of "child" when I created this page. In the Japanese version, they are called as "children" and written in katakana, that is a special part about EVA. In Japanese wikipedia, they uses "children": [http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/碇シンジ Shinji]=サードチルドレン, [http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/惣流・アスカ・ラングレー Asuka]=セカンドチルドレン and  [http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/綾波レイ Rei]=ファーストチルドレン. I don't think "children" or "child" is a big problem, it depends which version we choose to follow, English of Japanese. --[[User:Seph|Seph]] 01:35, 4 July 2009 (UTC)
