In the Japanese version, they are called as "children" and written in katakana, that is a special part about EVA. - When I watched EVA, a pilot is called a "children" so the word "children" came to my mind first instead of "child" when I created this page. In the Japanese version, they are called as "children" and written in katakana, that is a special part about EVA. In Japanese wikipedia, they uses "children": Shinji=サードチルドレン, Asuka=セカンドチルドレン and Rei=ファーストチルドレン.
