"Yami no Kuni no Alice / Hamon" is the second major and ninth overall single released by D, and their first double A-side. This was released in three different versions: a limited CD+DVD edition that comes with a DVD of the PV for the first A-side song, a limited CD only edition that comes with the B-side "Mad Tea Party", and a regular CD only edition that comes with the B-side "Rosarium". All editions contain the first A-side's instrumental and the second A-side "Hamon". Each limited edition comes with trading cards. "Yami no Kuni no Alice" was used as the theme song for the film Twilight Syndrome Dead-Go-Round and the August ending theme song for the NTV program Ongaku Senshi MUSIC FIGHTER, while "Hamon" was used as the ending theme song for the Nintendo DS game Twilight Syndrome ~Kinjirareta Toshi Densetsu~. The single reached #9 on the Oricon weekly charts, where it charted for four weeks.
