amber gris was a Japanese rock band formed in February 2009. In September of the same year, they played their first secret live in Tokyo, and a month later, on October 17th, their debut single - "Joukuu 8000ft -Shounen wa Tengoku e Todoku no ka-" - came out. On March 24th, 2010, amber gris released their second single, "Shoujo no Cuore", and six months later a mini-album, Child Forest. On July 20th, 2011, the band released their first full album entitled pomander.

Amber gris disbanded on May 27th, 2015.
