3rd Line Butterfly (3호선 버터플라이) is Korean rock band formed in summer 1999 and debuted in 2000. In 2010 all their main albums were re-released as remastered versions in commemoration of their 10th anniversary since debut.

Triva

• The band's name allegedly came about due to the fact that all of them members happen to live on the 3rd line of the Seoul subway system. This was combined with the word butterfly, which they claim they took from the rock band Iron Butterfly.
