AWAKE -evoke the urge- is the second album released by DEATHGAZE. This was the first album to feature Ai as their vocalist and Kousuke as their bassist. It was released in a CD+DVD only format. The DVD contains the PV, making of, and offshot for "abyss" along with the footage from their 2008 tour titled 2008 Tour Vol.1. The tour spanned from July 10th to August 30th, hitting 23 stops. The second volume which was held to support this album, titled 2008-2009 Tour Vol.2 -Evoke the real world-, went from November 16th to Febraury 3rd hitting 22 stops. The album reached #280 on the major Oricon chart, where it charted for a week.
