BLOW-UP is a compilation record compiled by Takimi Kenji and is the initial release for CRU-EL RECORDS. This is the first release to feature solo recordings by Kahimi Karie; she had previously recorded with Fancy Face Groovy Name with Minekawa Takako. The Cruel Grand Orchestra went on to record Kahimi's debut solo single "Mikes Alway's Diary".
