R!N is a Filipina-Japanese singer and songwriter. She debuted as a solo artist in 2013 with the album STARTL!NE followed by appearing on a number of collaborative songs with SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] credited as Gemie. R!N joined the all-female Japanese metal band Aldious in 2019 after its last vocalist withdrew, but withdrew in June 2021. In March 2021, she restarted her solo career with the single "Get away / Naked", two years after her last solo release.

- She went to high school in the Philippines, in her mother's hometown.
- She can speak English, Cebuano, and Japanese.
- In 2012, she received an award for excellence at "Pocky Creators".
- In 2013, she won the Grand Prix at Leopalace 21CM Singer Audition. During that same year, she served as a CM singer, as "Rin-chan", for one year.
- In 2016, she quit her part-time job to fully focus on music.
- In early 2019, she became a live support member for the band Aldious after their vocalist withdrew, and was promoted to a full member in August.
- She withdrew from Aldious in June 2021 due to developing depression from worsening mental stress. She was urgently hospitalized and left the band.
