Girls' Generation's Factory Girl (소녀시대의 팩토리 걸) was a reality television program broadcasted on the cable channel Mnet and starring Girls' Generation. The show documented their stint as fashion editor interns working for Elle Girl Korea magazine; the girls had to complete various challenges enacted by the "Elle Girl Korea" staff. After the show finished airing Nam Yoon Hee, the editor of "Elle Girl Korea", released a style book of the group titled "gorgeous" on April 17, 2009. Nam Yoon Hee stated "To check out the girls’ fashion styles, I visited their dorms and realized that it would be difficulty to portray their distinct personality only on stage. To show the 9 styles as well giving practical styling tips is the special feature of this style book." The style book was also issued online and in the April 2009 Elle Girl Korea magazine.
