"Himawari" is the debut single released by Yusuke. The title track was used as the theme song for the dorama Kamiji Yusuke Monogatari. It was released in two versions; a limited CD+DVD edition and a regular CD only edition. The first press included stickers and super picture CD label. The single reached #2 on the Oricon weekly charts and sold 359,556 copies in 2009, making the #8 single of the year. The RIAJ certified the single as Platinum for shipment of over 250.000 copies. The title track has also been certified as Million for ringtone downloads of over 1.000.000 and Double Platinum for full song downloads of over 500.000.
