Jack In The Box is the first solo album released by j-hope, having previously released only a mixtape.
On December 12th, 2022, it was released as a limited vinyl version.
On August 18th, 2023, a "HOPE Edition" was released including new postcards and the chance to win an autographed poster. Five new additional songs were also included.
