Kitahara Sawako

Kitahara Sawako (北原佐和子) is a Japanese actress and former Japanese pop singer. Kitahara started as a model for Oscar Promotions and a member of the idol group Pansy with Manabe Chiemi and Mitsui Hisako. Soon after, she debuted as an idol singer with the single "My Boyfriend" in 1982. She later debuted as an actress in various doramas and movies, a career she still works in today.

In 1990, Kitahara married but soon divorced two years later.
