Love & Marriage (연애결혼) is a South Korean drama directed by Kim Min Soo and Kim Hyung Suk and written by In Eun Ah. It starred actress and fashion model Kim Min Hee and actor Kim Ji Hoon in the series’ lead roles and spanned for a total of 16 episodes. It was broadcast on the KBS2 network from August 25, 2008 to October 20, 2008 and aired on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Love & Marriage had an average viewer rating of 4.7%.
Synopsis
Lee Kang Hyun (Kim Min Hee) works as a successful couple manager whose job is to play matchmaker and introduce two compatible people for the purpose of marriage. Yet after a disastrous match which leaves a bride tied to a fraud, Lee is fired from her job and ordered to pay compensation money to the bride’s family; her boyfriend Yi Kyung Wan (Park Ki Wong) also sequentially breaks up with her. Park Hyun Soo (Kim Ji Hoon) is a divorce lawyer whom located the fraud before the marriage took place and previously tried to warn Lee of his record. Lee didn’t listen and blames Park for her misfortune. She is rehired for a matchmaking job for divorcees. While not being a divorcee herself which is required of the job, Lee helps divorced clients find love while holding her grudge against Park, whom is also a divorcee who knows how painful the situation can be.
