Rev. from DVL was a Japanese pop idol group from Fukuoka under the label Yoshimoto R and C. Their name comes from the word [Rev.] short for "revolution" and in Haitian "dream", while DVL stands for dance vocal love. The group disbanded in 2017.

Information

The group was first formed in 2003 by talent agency Active Hakata as a dance and vocal unit called DVL and was renamed in June 2011 as Rev. from DVL. Rev. from DVL perform mainly in festivals and local events around Fukuoka. The members are also models. In July 2013, Rev. from DVL participated in the Manga Festival in Vietnam. In November 2013 Hashimoto Kanna caught the attention of people online and received nicknames such as "Angelic Idol" and "Once-in-a-life-time Idol". In 2014 they formed a partnership with Discovery Entertainment and had their major label debut in April 2014.
