Biography

SIVA, then known as Siva, was put together on February 1st, 2005. The original member line-up was vocalist Kairi (ex-Vishnu), guitarist Yuu (ex-EllDorado), guitarist Iori (ex-Blast), bassist Cell (ex-Alc<a>dia), and drummer Karuto. The band would then play their first live on March 17th at Nagoya CLUB QUATTRO. There were no lives or activity until November 11th. That was when Siva participated in the "Nihon Seiatsu" tour final that took place at LIQUID ROOM ebisu. They had also joined UNDER CODE PRODUCTION on that date and adopted the band concept 裏路地 (Ura Roji; A Back Alley or The Back Bottom).

Karuto left Siva on September 15th, 2006, nine days after the release of their first mini-album Asura. Before he was replaced, Aki (ex-xPhearx) became the band's support drummer. Kiri (ex-Rhyme) joined Siva as their drummer on April 24th, 2007. Iori left the band on March 23rd, 2008, four days after the release of their first best album COPY. After Iori's departure, Siva changed their name to SIVA and continued as a four member band.

SIVA's last release would be the best album SIVA. They would disband on July 25th, 2009 after their last one-man tour final. The tour was three dates; the first was on July 17th at HOLIDAY OSAKA titled "Brahmaa", the second one was on July 18th at HOLIDAY NAGOYA titled "Vishnu", and the final was on the 25th at Meguro Rockmaykan titled "Siva". Iori went on to join cocklobin, Karuto joined haunted and then Valls, and Aki joined Jikuu Kaizoku SEVEN SEAS and then E'm~grief~.
