- Information
"SO2" is Shinichi Osawa's second album under rhythm zone in Japan and 11th overall. The album was released first digitally in Japan with a bonus track, followed by physical releases of a regular CD+DVD edition and a limited 2CD+DVD edition, with the bonus CD consisting of a mix CD by Osawa's side project with fellow DJ Masatoshi Uemura, OFF THE ROCKER. Both editions came with a DVD of (PV)s of all of the songs, with the exception of "PIANOCTRO" replaced by "BRING BACK THAT NOISE feat. THE SUBS" as a bonus clip. The album's international digital release was handled by UK-based Southern Fried Records, with a slightly reworked tracklist and album cover. The album debuted at #59 on the Oricon charts, and charted for 3 weeks.
