STAR LAND is the second mini-album released by Miyakawa-kun. It was released in four versions: a limited CD+DVD edition, a limited CD+goods edition, a fanclub edition with both limited benefits and a regular CD edition. This mini-album marks Miyakawa-kun debut with Universal Music. The song Shape of You is a cover version of the same-name song performed by Ed Sheeran, while Sugar Song to Bitter Step is a cover of a same-name song performed by UNISON SQUARE GARDEN. It reached #8 on Oricon charts and charted for five weeks.
