Talk:The First Bloooooming
Naming?
The cover says "The First Bloooooming" while according to P00p, it's "Blooming". I'm not listening to K-music so I don't know about it but first, can you two please stop editing while talking through the note? P00p, please give us screen shots that you're mentioning and we'll discuss about them, it is from a music video or promotional events? --Seph 16:00, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
- I am a fan of K-pop and Kara and everyone knows their 1'st album is called The First Bloooooming . This is the 1st time I've encounter someone who thinks it's "Blooming". Some Korean websites mislabel album and song titles. It's a well known fact, that's why people know that they aren't the end all be all source. I can list some Korean sites that say it is "The First Bloooooming" while others say its "Blooming". I can list some sites that label the songs slightly differently; with one saying the 3rd track is spelled "If U wanna" while the other says its "If U Wanna" and so on. This situation is cut and dry. It says what the album is called on the cover. If it was called "Blooming" then the album cover would say that. But it doesn't because that is not what it is called. - Plisskin
- Even if "The First" was in the title, most people would say it was "The First Blooming", not "The First Bloooooming". Also, it says on their official website that it is called "Blooming". And I am a fan of Kara, but I'm just stating what I saw. http://img394.imageshack.us/img394/1239/bloomingofficial.jpg
- To be honest, I wouldn't mind just labelling it as "The First Blooming". -- P00p
- Their 1st mini-album is actually called "1st Mini Album". "Rock U" is the track they used to promote the album which gets mislabeled as "Rock You". The mini album also gets mislabeled as being called "Rock U" instead of being called "1st Mini Album". It should be changed on their wiki page. However, this is not what this conversation is about.
Just because most people have labeled it that way doesn't make it right. I don't know who started labeling their album "The First Blooming", but most likely it is labeled that way because people don't like the 5 o's in "Bloooooming". As for their official website it looks like they are using shorthand. Instead of typing out the full title they just refer to their album as "Blooming". I can back up all my claims. I own all of their CD's and can look at how album titles and tracks are supposed to be spelled and labeled. Contrary to your belief, covers have always been right. It is the people who mislabel the titles of the covers and album tracks who are wrong. - Plisskin
- Whatever, do what you want, I really don't care anymore. Lol. -- P00p
- Because you have nothing else to go on. This is fine by me. Didn't feel like talking to someone who couldn't and still can't see the obvious. - Plisskin
Leave it as it's shown on the cover
While I understand both sides of the argument, it should remain as what you see on the cover. If an artist releases something like "faraway", it should not be changed as "Faraway" other than creating its page. Hopefully the arguing will cease as it'd be foolish to get angry over one CD title among thousands. --EXodius 22:08, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
