Unlucky Morpheus is a Japanese melodic metal band. They are commonly referred to as "Ankimo" (あんきも).

Information

Unlucky Morpheus was formed in 2008 as a project started by vocalist Fuki and guitarist Shiren. Initially, Fuki and Shiren's main activities were covering anime songs and doujin music of Touhou Project, but gradually evolved to work on their own original music. While based on melodic metal that makes use of the members' transcendental techniques, they are actively using a unique style that incorporates influences from game music and anime songs.

In 2018, they released the songs "CADAVER" and "REVADAC" where the second song uses the first's arrangement but in reverse, making it the world's first attempt.
