Yaoi
Yaoi (やおい) and Shounen-ai (少年愛; Young Love) are a genre of manga and anime in Japan. The terms focus on love and romance between boys or men. Yaoi is used to describe titles that contain largely sex scenes and other sexually explicit themes, whereas shounen-ai is used to describe titles that focus more on romance. Most shounen-ai do not contain sex scenes or very little. Most shounen-ai contains harem themes, whereas most yaoi does not.
