COCKAYNE SOUP is the debut indie mini-album released by the GazettE. "Shiawase na Hibi" was already included on the "Gozen 0-ji no Trauma Radio" and was re-recorded and included on the mini-album. The entire mini-album was later included on the GazettE's first best album Dainippon Itan Geishateki Noumiso Gyaku Kaiten Zekkyou Ongenshuu. This is their only indie mini-album that wasn't reissued by KING RECORDS.
The mini-album reached #99 on the Oricon overall chart and #13 on the indie chart.
