hellcat is the debut mini-album released by Kuroki Meisa. It was released in two versions: a limited CD+DVD edition, and regular CD edition. Kuroki started her professional career in 2004 working as a model and actress, and in 2009 she made her musical debut with the digital single "Like This". The song "Bad Girl" was used as an insert in the film Crows ZERO II, which also features Kuroki. hellcat has been described as urban-pop EP, and has received comparisons to Amuro Namie and her popular dance orienated "Hip-Pop" style.[1][2] Kuroki choose to show a very sexualized image with her music videos and lyrics for the songs she recorded. She follows up with her fist single "SHOCK -Unmei-" in July 2009 and her second EP attitude in January 2010.
