Akyuukai is the second indie mini-album released by Gazette. It was released a month after COCKAYNE SOUP. The entire mini-album was later included on the GazettE's first best album Dainippon Itan Geishateki Noumiso Gyaku Kaiten Zekkyou Ongenshuu. In 2005 it was re-released by KING RECORDS.
The original release reached #100 on the Oricon overall charts and reached #8 on the indies chart. The 2005 reissue didn't charted on the Oricon.
