Information

Concentration 20 is the sophomore studio album recorded by Amuro Namie. Much like her debut album SWEET 19 BLUES the album was produced by Komuro Tetsuya and all the lyrics, music, and arrangements done by his production team. Despite this, the album has a completely different sound; the album is a mix of experimental electronic tunes with influences from pop rock, industrial, and reggae. The sound on this album has been compared to that of Komuro's group globe; With their vocalist MARC writing the majority of the lyrics on the record. Unlike her debut album, this release does not include any interludes. Much like her SWEET 19 BLUES the album art was shot by Hirama Itaru and with art direction by Tycoon Graphics.

This album reached #1 on the weekly Oricon chart, and continued to rank for a total of 28 weeks. In 1997 it sold 1,879,090 copies, becoming the #7 album of the year. In all, the record sold a total of 1,929,860 copies, making it Amuro's second-most sucessful album. It is also the #80 best-selling album in Japan.
