Hayashi Kaori got her start in show business when she joined the idol group Onyanko Club after winning the Yuuyake Nyan Nyan-sponsored contest August 2, 1985. Hayashi was a low-key member and only participated in group songs, concerts, and in the show Yuuyake Nyan Nyan. She graduated from the group on March 27, 1986 with Mita Fumiyo to continue with school and retire from show business.
Hayashi currently works as an office lady for a cosmetics company.
