Information

"Koko de Kiss Shite" is Shiina Ringo's third single. Shiina originally performed this song in 1996 for Japan's 5th Annual Music Quest Competition, and got an award for excellence for it. The song was used as a Space Shower "Power Push!" song for January 1999, as well as an ending theme song for the TV show Downtown DX. Koko de Kiss Shite. is the single that set off Shiina Ringo's career, as it sold six times the amount as its predecessor. It reached #10 in Oricon Charts and charted for 27 weeks. It sold 308,690 units in Japan.

On 2005.07.03 on the KinKi Kids' variety show Domoto Kyoudai, "Koko de Kiss Shite." was covered by Domoto Tsuyoshi.

Music Video

The PV for "Koko de Kiss Shite." was directed by Usui Hiroshi. It features Shiina Ringo playing the guitar outside with a band, backed by some rose bushes. This version is officially called the "Baraen Version" (薔薇園ヴァージョン; Rose Garden Version) by Shiina's website.

A different version of the music video appears on her Seiteki Healing ~Vol. I~ PV clips DVD as a bonus track. It was also directed by Usui Hiroshi.
