"Promised Love" is the 35th single released by THE ALFEE. It was released simultaneously as an 8cm CD and a cassette tape. The title track was used as the theme song for the drama Pole Position! Aishiki Hito e.... The single reached #2 on the Oricon weekly chart and charted for seventeen weeks, selling approximately 657,000 copies. It is the band's best-selling single.
