"Ranse Eroica" is the 28th single released by ALI PROJECT, and was released under the Lantis sub-label GloryHeaven. It was released on the same day as their fourth DVD Gekkou Soiree VI ~Gothic Opera~. This is also the first in a series of releases in three consecutive months. "Katana to Saya" is the second entry, while Han Shinnihon Shugi is the third. The titular track was used as the theme song of the video game Fate/EXTRA. The single reached #20 on the Oricon weekly charts, where it charted for five weeks and sold 6,259 copies.
