Sandokushi is the seventh studio album released by Shiina Ringo. It was released in two versions: a limited CD edition that comes with a hardcover case and a regular edition. The title of the album pertains to the album's theme; "Sandoku" (三毒) refers to the three kleshas, or shi (使), that poison the heart of man. The three poisons referred to are greed (akin to a pig) (貪（むさぼり=豚）), hatred (akin to a snake) (瞋（怒り=蛇）), and delusion (akin to a chicken) (癡（迷妄=鶏）).
