"Yoake wo Motomete" is THE ALFEE's 58th single. It was released in three versions, all with different covers and B-sides. The title track was used at the theme song for the drama Arashi ga Kureta Mono. The B-sides were recorded from their 26th summer live Legendary Summer 2009 YOKOHAMA PERFECT BURN. The single reached #4 on the Oricon weekly chart. Because it sold 34,352 copies in 2009, it was the #192 single of that year. Overall, it charted for seven weeks and sold 34,949 copies.
