After seeing a salsa band in Venezuela at age 10, Hana Eryca was deeply moved and decided to become a musician.

When she moved back to Japan later on, Hana was able to snag a record label deal in 2002. At the same time, she appeared as a guest vocal for the Japanese rock band MI:LAGRO and released two singles while with them. She decided to write her own song lyrics after the release of her first written song, llegaste a mi vida. She also released a single when with the group La Pearl. She also decided to become a stage actress, debuting as Maureen in the Japanese version of RENT the same year.

Her future dreams is to teach Spanish in Japanese high schools and embark a world tour all over the world, especially South America.
