- Information
"Xīn Zhàn ~RED CLIFF~" is the Chinese debut single released by alan. The B-sides of the single are Mandarin Chinese sung versions of various previously released Japanese songs. The titular song was nominated for the Best Original Song at the 28th Hong Kong Film Awards, but didn't win.
Four months later, alan then released the Japanese version titled "RED CLIFF ~Shin Sen~", and was released as her sixth Japanese single. This was released in two different versions: a limited CD+DVD edition and the regular CD only edition. The first B-side is the previously released Chinese version of the title song. Both versions of the song were used as the theme songs for the Chinese and Japanese releases of the epic movie RED CLIFF Part I. "RED CLIFF ~Shin Sen~" was also used as the CM song for Koei's game Shin Sangoku Musou 5. This single is the fourth in five consecutive monthly singles, "RED CLIFF ~Shin Sen~" represents the element of fire.
