Information

C.C. Girls made their debut in 1990 after Aota, Harada, Fujiwara, and Fujimori won the Beauty Japanese Award and a chance to debut as variety personalities and singers. The group was named D.D. Gaps with the idea for the group to be Cool and Classy. They made their musical debut in 1991 with the single "D.D.GAPS HERE" and released two other singles afterwards until they changed their name to C.C. Girls in 1992 to better suit their idea.

The group continued to release new material. But, Fujiwara and Fujimori left the group in 1995 and was replaced by two new members, Motosuhi and Mori. Soon after, Harada and Aota left the group in 1996 and 1998, respectively. This left their empty positions to be replaced by two new girls, Yamada and Hamano. This caused the birth of a new generation of C.C. Girls and a new mission for the group, to be sexy and be communication idols as well.

Sadly, the group broke up on December 2003 with each member went on their career paths. Soon after, Hamano retired from show business and got married. It is rumored that their was some fall out with the members due to Hamano not inviting her former group members to her own wedding. It was also rumored that Oscar Promotion wanted to make a third generation of the group under a different name in 2003.
