Byul (별) is a Korean pop singer and musical actress most well known for her ballad "I Think I" used on the popular drama, Full House. Debuting in 2002, her song "12 Wol 32 Il" became a moderate hit in Korea. Since then, her lead singles have usually hit the top 10 on the song charts. Byul is sometimes credited as STAR, her stage name's English translation.

In August 2012, she announced her wedding date with singer/entertainer Haha for November 30.
