In the year 2009, she was the winner of "Universal Music × Shinseido Shinjin Hakkutsu Audition CHANCE!09", audition held by Universal. On February 9th, 2011, she made her major debut with the single "Ashita, Kimi to Te wo Tsunagu yo".
