- Information
Shimizu is the third studio album and second mini-album released by Midori. This album is Midori's major label debut with their new record label, Sony Music Associated Records. The album was released in two versions: a CD+DVD version, and a vinyl record version was released through CIACADA PEAKS almost a year later. This is the band's first release to not feature vocalist and guitarist Goto Mariko on the release's cover. The songs on the album were actually recorded twice. The band was unhappy with the original recordings by Sony's staff and re-recorded the songs themselves [1]. This album reached #63 on the weekly Oricon chart, and stayed on the chart for a total of three weeks.
