History
Takayama Miru was offered help from her cousin Takayama Minami with a music career. As part of an experiment, Takayama joined her cousin's group, TWO-MIX, and released three singles (JUSTICE ~Future Mystery~, Kiss and RHYTHMIC YOUTH) under the temporary name Takayama Miru with TWO-MIX in 1999.
After the success of Takayama Miru with TWO-MIX, they formed another unit called M★TWO -MinaMiru-. Unfortunately, after the release of the single 37°C ~Binetsu Senki~ and the album Single & Single, Takayama realized that a career in music was not something that she cared to pursue any longer. After Takayama Miru's leave, TWO-MIX resumed recording music under their original name
