In April 2006, shortly after the breakup of [[CORE THE CHILD|COЯE THE CHILD,]] the rapid rise of the [[Visual-Kei|visual kei]] band UnsraW, founded by the singer 勇企 ([[Yuki (UnsraW)|Yuki]]) and the drummer 匠 ([[Sho (UnsraW)|Sho]]), began. The visual portrayal of masked marionettes is not the only element which creates UnsraW’s kinky mood of mystery; it´s also the unbelievable voice of the singers (often referred to as the death voice) which leaves its indelible mark.

There were two versions of the band´s first mini-album released in Japan, an album which in a record amount of time was sold out through advanced orders. This album was newly released at the beginning of this year as a studio album which includes three additional songs.
After the disbandment of previous band [[Core the Child]] Vocalist 'Yuuki' and Drummer 'Shou' formed the band 'UnsraW'. The band performed several "secret lives" with no releases, after which had the indie label Speed-Disk looking to have a recording deal with the band, which specializes in Visual-Kei material.


UnsraW released the singles [[-9-]] and [[Gate of Death]]. The two singles were limited to a 1000-copy pressing, and sold out almost instantly. In 2006, the band released its first EP, [[Spiral Circle]] in two types, which also sold out soon after their release. Beginning in 2007, UnsraW began releasing material in Europe through import label CLJ Records, with their first full-length album [[Spiral Circle -Complete-]], and concert DVD [[Screaming Birthday]].  
The special edition which has been produced for Europe contains all the titles from the Spiral Circle ablums and 3 extra tracks plus a DVD with the 4 video tracks from the combined former mini-albums [[Spiral Circle]] Type A and Type B.


The band went on to release another single leading to a pair of EPs in the summer of 2007 titled [[Abel]] and [[Kein]]. The two EPs were released as a single album in Europe with a bonus track, and later in Japan with a differing bonus track.

After a few shows in 2008, Yuuki became suddenly ill and was unable to perform with the band. As the members did'nt want to cancel preformances, the rest of the members performed instrumental shows. In April, it was revealed 'Yuuki' would be returning to music, but that he was still fighting a lung disease, but in May UnsraW it was announced they will be pausing activities until Yuuki had fully recovered.

UnsraW announced that Yuuki had made a full recovery, and they would be having two return lives scheduled in August to celebrate. Unfortunately, due to a hand injury acquired in a motorcycle accident, bassist 'Jun' decided to withdraw from the band.
