HIMEKA is a Japanese pop singer of French Canadian descent under Sony Music Japan International. Her stage, "HIMEKA" is delivered from a character in her owns story written at her age of 15. HIMEKA is a native French speaker, fluent in English, and still learning Japanese.

Information

Before become a professional singer, HIMEKA covered anime song and uploaded her singing video on Youtube. In 2008, she was the winner of the second annual Animax Anison Grand Prix and got a chance to make a major debut in Japan with Sony Music Japan. She then moved to Tokyo and worked with Tokita Shintarou of Sukima Switch for her first own song. She will release her debut single, Asu e no Kizuna - Valkyria Chronicles's opening theme on May 27th, 2009.
