Eri is a Japanese singer-songwriter and talento.

Information

Eri first auditioned and placed as a runner-up in 1981 for a HIDEKI music audition. Later on, she would score a contract with RVC, allowing her to release the Katou Kazuhiko penned single Blue Jeans Boy under the stage name Morishita Eri. She would start writing her own lyrics starting with the single Blue Eyes wo Dakishimetai. She also start to become a variety idol by appearing in different variety shows. But, she retired in 1989 due to getting married.

In 1996, Morishita would come back to the world of show business as Eri, releasing her first comeback single named Tsuyokureru under the label TOY'S FACTORY. Then four years later, she would performed live concerts with the band moneji. But after the band released their only album in 2005, the band disbanded and allowed Eri to once again to have a solo career now under TOM RECORDS.
