HIMEKA (real name Catherine St-Onge) is a Japanese pop singer of French Canadian descent under Sony Music Japan International. In the year 2008, she was the winner of the second annual Animax Anison Grand Prix and got a chance to make a major debut in Japan. HIMEKA releases her debut single, Asu e no Kizuna - Valkyria Chronicles' opening theme on May 27th, 2009.
Her stagename, "HIMEKA" is delivered from a character in her own story written at the age of 15.
